Flammability (Children’s Sleepwear Standards):
The U.S. differentiates between general apparel and children’s sleepwear.
General Wearing Apparel:
Must comply with 16 CFR Part 1610 (Standard for the Flammability of Clothing Textiles).
Children’s Sleepwear (0–14 years):
Subject to stricter flammability standards under 16 CFR Parts 1615 & 1616.

All children’s clothing must be tested at a CPSC-accepted third-party laboratory. A CPC must be issued confirming compliance with all applicable rules.
Tracking Label Requirement:
Each garment must include a permanent tracking label with manufacturer/importer details, batch number, and production information.
Chemical Restrictions:
Strict limits apply to:
Baby clothing must be tested to ensure compliance with CPSIA heavy metal and chemical content limits.
Mechanical Safety:
Our Merchandising and Quality Teams work with internationally accredited third-party agencies such as SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas (BV), and UL to coordinate testing, manage sample submission, and provide complete compliance documentation to customers.
